Located at the junction of Commercial Road and White Church Lane, this landmark 18-storey ‘campanile’ tower serves as a new gateway to Tower Hamlets. Inspired by the adjacent listed brewery, the design utilizes a sophisticated palette of brick and bronze-anodised metal. Its slender profile and distinctive open corners are designed to harmonise with the historic local character while contributing to the emerging Aldgate skyscraper cluster. Delivering 44 high-specification residential units, the scheme is entirely car-free and promotes sustainable travel through its highly accessible location and secure cycle storage.

The project enhances the urban environment with a high-quality public piazza and a two-storey loggia that respects the neighbouring listed building’s alignment. This open space provides a pedestrian-friendly retreat with fixed seating and planting to complement the active ground-floor commercial units. Navigating the logistical demands of a high-density skyscraper cluster, the team implemented a precise structural strategy to manage the 18-storey reinforced concrete frame and the installation of the bronze-anodised facade. The final delivery stands as a testament to technical precision and a commitment to high-end urban regeneration.
